THE ELECTRIC CALL

Come celebrate and take part in a gigantic piece of human/robotic performance art. Dress like a robot. Bring or build a robot if you can. Listen to or perform in a robot poetry slam.

Stand up for robot rights. Don't let them be the slaves of the new millennium. Dress up as a bot and march for world peace. Respect the robots.

We love everybody! All are welcome, regardless of biology, species, gender, race, wavelength, circuitry or programming.

TIME

Sunday, September 17th, 2006 1:00 PM TO 2:00 PM RAIN OR SHINE!

PLACE

Tompkins Square Park - Meet at the Temperance Fountain, not far from the park entrance at 9th Street and Avenue A. We will then triumphantly roll, grind, creak, bump, crawl and walk around the circle.
As the good city has told us, "no vehicles, no amplified sound, no grilling, no alcoholic beverages, no raindate, no banners."
